Η γοητεία του να παγώνεις τον χρόνο με το πάτημα ενός κουμπιού. Η ανάγκη να κλείσεις όλη την έκφραση της αισθητικής σου σε ένα μόνο κάδρο. Η μαγεία των αναμνήσεων, των τοπίων, των εικόνων σε ένα γοητευτικό παιχνίδι με το φως. Να, μερικοί λόγοι που μας έβαλαν στην παρέα αυτή και μας έκαναν να αγαπήσουμε ακόμη περισσότερο τη φωτογραφία και τη φωτογραφική μας μηχανή.
Η Φωτογραφική Ομάδα Πάρου φτάνει αισίως στον έκτο χρόνο ύπαρξής της και στην 5η Έκθεσή της.
Οι εβδομαδιαίες συναντήσεις της Ομάδας ξεκινούν το Σεπτέμβρη και μέχρι το Μάη μοιραζόμαστε εικόνες και φωτογραφικές ανησυχίες, παράλληλα με φωτογραφικές ασκήσεις και παρουσιάσεις σημαντικών προσώπων της τέχνης της φωτογραφίας.
Φέτος είχαμε ξανά την ευκαιρία να αφήσουμε για λίγο στην άκρη την ψηφιακή μας μηχανή και να δουλέψουμε στα σκοτεινά. Αυτή τη φορά εργαστήκαμε με μια παλιά μηχανή φιλμ σε τετράγωνο φορμά και επιλέξαμε μπροστά από το φακό μας να βάλουμε πρόσωπα. Η σειρά πορτρέτων που προέκυψε ως αποτέλεσμα αυτής της εργασίας παρουσιάζεται με μεγάλη χαρά στη φετινή μας έκθεση παράλληλα με τα επιλεγμένα ψηφιακά μας έργα.

The fascination of freezing time with the click of a button; the need to contain the full expression of your taste within just one frame; the magic of memories, landscapes and images in a charming play with light: here are some of the reasons that made us part of this company of friends and made us love our camera and photography even more.
Our weekly group meetings start in September and end in March every year; there we share our images and photographic interests & concerns, working in parallel in training projects and presentations of important figures in the art of photography.
Φωτογραφική Ομάδα Πάρου Paros Photo Club has been running for six years now and we are now happy to present its 5th Annual Photography Exhibition.
Once again this year, we had the chance of putting our digital cameras aside for a while and work ‘in the dark’, using an old large-format film camera and choosing to have people’s faces in front of our lenses.
We have the pleasure to present the series of portraits that resulted from this line of work, together with a selection of our digital photographs."

Le charme de figer le temps en appuyant sur le déclencheur. Le besoin d’enfermer dans un seul cadre toute l’expression de l’esthetisme. La magie des mémoires, des paysages, ou celle des images dans une partie de jeu de charme avec la lumière. Voici quelques raisons qu’ils nous ont motivé à se réunir autour de cette compagnie et d’aimer encore plus la photographie et nos appareils photo.
Cette année le Club Photo de Paros entame sa sixième année et il organise sa cinquième exposition annuelle.
Les réunions hebdomadaires du groupe commencent en septembre et se terminent en mai. Durant toute cette période nous partageons nos photos, nos préoccupations photographiques, on participe à des exercices photographiques, à des présentations sur des personnalités du monde de la photographie.
Cette année nous avons eu encore une fois la possibilité de quitter pendant un moment nos appareils numériques pour travailler en chambre noire. Avec l’aide d’un appareil argentique au format carré nous avons expérimenté la photo portrait.
C’est avec une grande joie que nous exposons ainsi la série de portraits résultant de ce travail aux côtés de nos photos numériques sélectionnées.
