Το τραγούδι που ακούστηκε πρώτη φορά το 1941 παραμένει δημοφιλές μέχρι σήμερα.

Με την υποστήριξη του φωνητικού συγκροτήματος Music Maids, ο τραγουδιστής Μπινγκ Κρόσμπι τραγούδησε πρώτη φορά το «White Christmas» ανήμερα των Χριστουγέννων του 1941, στην εβδομαδιαία ραδιοφωνική του εκπομπή στο NBC, Kraft Music Hall.

Το τραγούδι έχουν διασκευάσει μεταξύ άλλων οι Μπομπ Μάρλεϊ, Γουίλι Νέλσον, Μπομπ Ντίλαν, U2 και Μάικλ Μπουμπλέ.
