Εγκαίνια της έκθεσης «Studio Views» του γνωστού Έλληνα εικαστικού Κωνσταντίνου Παπαγεωργίου

Ο Κωνσταντίνος Παπαγεωργίου με καταγωγή από τα Χανιά, αποφοίτησε από την Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών, με σπουδές στην ζωγραφική, την χαρακτική και την βυζαντινή αγιογραφία ενώ παράλληλα με τις σπουδές του, μαθήτευσε στο Εργαστήριο του Αγιογράφου Πέτρου Βαμπούλη. Έργα του υπάρχουν σε συλλογές στη Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό και σε πολλούς ναούς στην Ελλάδα και στην Κύπρο. Περιστασιακά εργάστηκε στην Ελληνική Ραδιοφωνία και Τηλεόραση όπως και σε διάφορα περιοδικά και εφημερίδες. Έχει παρουσιάσει ατομικές εκθέσεις σε πολλές gallery στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό όπως: Adam Gallery Αθήνα 2003 και 2008, Gallery Frederic - Moisan, Παρίσι 2010, Space Gallery Λονδίνο 2004, Hellenic-American Union Αθήνα 2016 κ.α.

Τα υλικά κατασκευής των έργων είναι λάδι σε μουσαμά - ξύλο και εφημερίδες.

Τα έργα του είναι εμπνευσμένα από τον μικρόκοσμο, του ατελιέ του. Στο χώρο αυτό, όπως ο ίδιος λέει, περνάει τον περισσότερο χρόνο της ημέρας του. Για τον ίδιο είναι χώρος απομόνωσης, περισυλλογής και δημιουργίας. Τα πινέλα, τα σωληνάριά, τα βιβλία και τα ρούχα του, παίρνουν άλλη διάσταση σε αυτό το χώρο, αποκτούν οντότητα και γίνονται πρωταγωνιστές και συνοδοιπόροι στο ταξίδι της τέχνης.

Στους πίνακές του αποτυπώνονται στιγμές της καθημερινότητας με φωτογραφικό ρεαλισμό, με χρώματα που αποπνέουν πάθος και καθαρότητα, δύναμη και πλούτο συναισθημάτων. Σκοπός του καλλιτέχνη είναι να μοιραστεί αυτό το πάθος και την χαρά της ζωής με τον θεατή.

Art Space / Studio 265 is pleased to invite you to the inauguration of "Studio Views" by the famous Greek artist Konstantinos Papageorgiou on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at 20:00 in Parikia, Paros. Your presence will honour us!

Konstantinos Papageorgiou, graduated from the School of Fine Arts, studying painting, engraving and Byzantine hagiography, while at the same time he studied at the Hagiographer's Workshop of Petros Vamboulis. His works are in collections in Greece and abroad and in many temples in Greece and Cyprus. Occasionally he worked in the Greek Radio and Television as well as in various magazines and newspapers. He has presented solo exhibitions in many galleries in Greece and abroad such as Adam Gallery Athens 2003 and 2008, Gallery Frederic - Moisan, Paris 2010, Space Gallery London 2004, Hellenic-American Union Athens 2016 etc.

The construction materials of his works are oil on canvas - wood and newspapers.

His works are inspired by the microcosm of his studio. In this area, as he says, he spends most of his day. For him, it's a place of isolation, meditation and creation. His paintbrushes, tubes, books and clothes take another dimension in this space, acquire an entity and become protagonists and companions in the journey of art.

His paintings depict moments of everyday life with photographic realism, with colours that exude passion and purity, power and wealth of emotions. The artist's purpose is to share this passion and the joy of life with the viewer.
